Students, If you want extra credit....watch the film below....and create a SHORT "critique" of the video...e.g. tell me why you enjoyed it or disliked it. The English translation is at the TOP of the video. This is a PARODY! So be thinking about "tech support" in the middle ages!

District Testing




This week students will be District Testing! You are going to do GREAT!!!

Homework will be to complete the textbook (ch. 9) test & quick writes.

Students will have a staggered schedule, in order to accommodate for testing, so some classes will vary in length. Students will be reviewing chapter 9 key terms, main ideas and will prepare for a chapter test by the end of the week.

HISTORY DAY PROJECTS DUE FRIDAY!!!

Students and Parents/Guardians!

History Day Projects are due THIS Friday, January 16, 2009. Students have been given information for this project since late October 2008. Each student has TWO packets that include the guidelines, rules, regulations and EVERYTHING they (and you) will need to ensure success! We even had POSTER BOARDS, colored paper, glue sticks and other supplies available for students (For FREE). PLEASE do not allow students to make excuses!!!

YES! The rumors are true...Boston (One of Mr. S's dogs) was entered into a contest to be the "cutest" for Bissell's MVP Pet Photo Contest. Students asked to be able to vote, so here you go!

We will be working through Ch. 9 (The Early Middle Ages).

Homework will be completed IN CLASS to allow time for final preparations of their History Day Projects. We will complete:

2) p. 251 (1-3)
